Photoshop- the making process (Magazine)
Photoshop- Magazine
Pictures- First Attempt
Commentary-
I first started off using Photoshop with lack of understanding of how to probably use the software thus why it was evident how my magazine draft lacks to look like an actual magazine. I experimented with putting photos at the bottom but this had failed to make my magazine looks like an actual magazine.
So, in my second attempt, I dimmed my main cover image by dimming the light using the burn tool in Photoshop which was effective in making sure parts of Jane's(the antagonist) face blends in with the rest of the magazine.
I also attempted to make an actual title in Photoshop by using the text tool in Photoshop. I made sure the main cover line fits with the magazine by enlarging the font size to 56. I also separated the spacing between each letter by making the spacing line to be 7 pts so the spacing would make sure the main cover line is big and bold as well as making sure it fits within the magazine. I also made sure the line spacing of each cover line is more than 2 pts as this would make sure the cover lines are close to each other but not to close to each other that it would leave a big gap in the poster.
With the help of my teacher, she had amended my magazine front cover even further to make sure I have corrected any errors that were evident before. This help allowed me to add any last minute amendments which had helped me produce a successful magazine.

Photo shoot
If you are unable to see the Photo shoot of the Cursed slideshare format, you may see it from this Microsoft PowerPoint online format.
Evaluation- what we/I learnt
From taking these pictures, my group were able to have a diversity of pictures as well as shots that my group can use either for our individual posters and magazines. This photo shoot of my teaser trailer has taught me how important certain shots are in order to make an individual poster and magazine much more accessible and easier to make. This group work activity has allowed every single individual to express their views which has proved helpful due to the effectiveness of the shots.

Magazine analysis
This magazine analysis has given me the ability to understand what the different features that are show in magazines and why it is important for companies to be very specific as to what in this magazines. This task has taught me to figure out what certain features I would like to be in my magazine and whether or not I want my magazine to be conventional or unconventional as what a typical magazine looks like. So, I have to be very careful as to what typography, masthead, strap line, cover lines, main cover line and direct mode of address I would like in my magazine.
Summary of your analysis- what did you find out
From my analysis, I was able to deconstruct the meanings of multiple posters and magazines. This had greatly made me know plays a significant role in various posters and magazines. It gave me an understanding of what masthead style should be in my magazine and what should be the central picture of my poster. The analysis of the posters and magazines have allowed me to understand how multiple features within a magazine and poster have been manipulated in a way that allows many meanings to be transmitted to the audience. This analysis have been greatly helpful thus this will allow me to construct an successful ancillary texts of a poster and magazine front cover for the film 'The Cursed.
